We seek motivated undergraduate and graduate students interested in experimental optics, light-matter interactions, photonics, ultrafast nonlinear phenomena, materials science and/or quantum phase transitions. Research projects in our ultrafast THz spectroscopy lab are highly multi-disciplinary. They involve the use of cutting-edge optical technologies such as Liquid-helium cryostat, high-power optical sources and high-resolution optical detectors to investigate some of the most complex and intriguing topics in materials physics such as high-temperature superconductivity and Bose-Einstein condensation in solids. To apply for a project in our research group, please send an email with (1) a short description of your interests, (2) an updated CV, and (3) a bachelor's degree transcript and Master's degree transcript for PhD candidates.
